Avi Avisadon was first Deputy Head and later Head of the Krav Maga training unit for the Israeli Naval Commandos, teaching elite military units. He continues to teach fighters in the Naval Commandos, as well as founding elite Krav-Maga units. After his military service, Avi managed the 25 instructors who provided security guard training for all educational institutes in Israel. Today Avi is the Head of the K.A.M.I. method and has achieved his eighth degree black belt. Avi conducts seminars for female self-defense instructors for Israel's schools, and also leads preparation courses for security guards in the Israeli transport and security industries. Avi has been teaching courses at the Wingate Institute, Israel's National Center for Physical Education and Sports, since 1991. He coordinates all aspects of the Martial Arts program at Wingate and runs both year-long and condensed courses for coaches, instructors and senior teachers.
Co-instructing the seminar is Erez Sharabi. Erez began his training in 1987 and became an instructor in Netanya, Israel under Mr. Eli Avikzar (Imi's top student at the time). He is a graduate of the School for Instructors as well as School of trainers at the Wingate Institute. He holds Dan 5(fifth degree)in K.A.M.I. Erez had a role in the preparation courses for security guards in the Israeli security industries. He's senior students include Ron Rotem Dan 4 (forth degree), Former head of the Krav Maga program in the Israeli defense forces (IDF) and Eliran Dobozinkski Dan 3 (third degree), former instructor for the Israeli Police Academy. His instructors and students hold high ranking teaching and management positions in major branched of the security forces in the government and the private sector. Erez currently runs and teaches in two branches of K.A.M.I in Israel. Erez is also an active board member of the K.A.M.I.
