ROCKLEIGH, NJ-(BUSINESS WIRE)-OCTOBER 1, 2012 – Royal Sovereign is pleased to announce the introduction of its Wide Format Electric Trimmers.  They are amazingly easy to use and designed for fast clean cuts to safely and accurately finish signs, posters, and various laminated materials.

The RET-1500 has a cutting length of 59” and is a perfect fit for shops with a 54” printer.  The RET-2000 with a 78” cutting length and the RET2500 with a 98” cutting length are great for shops needing to trim larger materials.  They are all equipped with a self-sharpening rotary blade and provide bi-directional cutting at speeds of up to 6.6 feet per second.

The free standing trimmers are extremely easy to use featuring one-touch activation by using the activation bar that runs the full length of the unit or hands-free operation by using the included foot pedal.  The bidirectional self-sharpening rotary blade easily cuts material in both directions.  The attached wastecatcher prevents scrap trimmings and material from falling onto the floor and reduces clean-up time.  The illuminated guideline aids in material alignment for straight cuts.  The self-sharpening hardened steel blades provide thousands of uses with minimal maintenance.  Additional features include a lighted power switch, built-In safety covers, and a durable steel floor stand.  An optional Roll Holder bar is available to help feed long rolls of material for easier trimming.
