Want to be a star and idol of your generation?

Oct. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Premier Centre for the Arts will be hosting their second annual talent contest Smalltown Idol this October. This is your chance to shine and show everyone what you’ve got! Prove that you can be a star in your own right. Categories include singing, dancing, acting, twirling, and all instruments with age categories ranging from 0-10 years old, and 11-17 years old. 1st Place person/group will win $150 and $150 PCA Scholarship. 2nd and 3rd Place winners will also receive cash prizes.

This contest will take place October 12-14 all nights at 7:00pm. Tickets will be $10 for General Admission seating. Preliminary winners will be chosen by a select group of judges and the audience votes for their wildcard pick. Winners will be announced at the end of each show. Strut your stuff down to PCA, fill out an entry form, and prepare to become the idol you’ve been dreaming of!

Premier Centre for the Arts is located at 27 Anderson Street in historic downtown Middletown, Delaware. With almost 500 weekly students and 250 annual performances, PCA focuses its performance-based educational programs on nurturing a well-rounded student and professional performer. The 10000 sq ft facility has 14 studios, scene shop, retail store /café, art gallery, recording/video studio, theater, onsite parking, dressing rooms, administrative offices, spa rooms, and more.
