BIG ARTS “World of Fashion” Exhibit Opens October 15

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 2, 2012 - BIG ARTS “World of Fashion” exhibit, featuring images of the world of fashion and its influence on contemporary life, runs October 15 through December 1. Juror is designer and textile artist Aida Bukovica.

There will be a Juror’s talk Friday, October 12, at 2:30 p.m. A reception and awards ceremony will take place Friday, November 2, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.

Known as Sanibel and Captiva’s home for all the arts, BIG ARTS has been providing cultural enrichment and fulfillment to island residents and visitors since 1979. BIG ARTS began when a group of artists dreamed of a cultural center on the island.
