Michael Jordan from childhood was very different from others with competitive passion but his initial days was problematic and was discouraged at certain situation . He was the fourth child of his parents two brother Larry and James and two sister one younger and one elder.

Michael Jordan was not very tall in his initial days and he never hoped that he will become tall because no one in his family reached the height to at least 6 feet.Michael Jordan was even unaware of his future and never he was that much interested in athletic field when he was entering high school.

Initially baseball was the game Michael chose but but Michael turn into basket ball when his elder brother Larry challenged him and beat him one after the other this created Michael interest in basketball as he was very competitive person.So after this Michael got interest in basketball and started his persuasion in basketball only.

But it was no easy yet as he was not that tall to become a basketball player.One day the main team needed an extra player for playoffs,Michael thought that they would pick him but Leroy smith his team mate was chosen with this made him very discouraged. This was obvious because Leroy was 6feet 5 inches and Michael was just 5feet 10 inches.

This was the turning point after all rejections of height being the issue.Every buddy in the team making fun of him on height and discouraging him.This all made him more bold and dedicated to basketball .Michael Jordan decided and promised himself that he is going to make his career in basketball only.So Michael started doing his best of efforts ,working on basketballs skills ,practicing day and night.After all his dedication and efforts in practicing ,it was not time to get reward from this.Due to everyday practicing Michael from 5feet 10 inches to 6 feet 3 inches and this was enough for the man to create history in basketball game.

From that point Michael Jordan never look back and created history one after the other in field of basketball.
