CMA Group LLC awarded Two GSA MAS Contracts for Accounting and Audits under Schedule 520

Oct. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Effective September 5, 2012, CMA Group, LLC was awarded their initial five year contract under the GSA/VA FSS Multiple Award Schedules program. This contract #GS-23F-0073Y, under Schedule 520 (Financial and Business Solutions), allows for approved government purchasers to procure administrative reviews and rate examinations on prepayment and postpayment transportation bills to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established rates, tariffs, quotations, agreements, tenders or other applicable rate authority, at the prenegotiated rates and terms approved by GSA.

The following day, GSA awarded CMA Group, LLC an additional contract #GS-23F-0073Y, also under GSA Schedule 520; this contract covering accounting and financial and performance audits. This contract covers the following scope of work: 520 11 Transaction analysis, transaction processing, data analysis and summarization, technical assistance in devising new or revised accounting policies and procedures, classifying accounting transactions, special studies to improve accounting operations, and 520 7 Transaction analysis, transaction processing, data analysis and summarization, technical assistance in devising new or revised accounting policies and procedures, classifying accounting transactions, special studies to improve accounting operations.

The contract for 520 10 Transportation Audits is classified as a small business set aside. in accordance with 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS –
COMMERCIAL ITEMS (APR 2012) (ALTERNATE II – DEC 2010) 52.219-6 NOTICE OF TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (NOV 2011) which means that only qualifying businesses that meet the classification of a small business can receive this work.
