Conover, CPA, CFBA, Partner, participated in a panel discussion entitled “Elder Care–New Jersey Estate and Inheritance Tax and Probate Issues” to over 150 attendees of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (“NJSCPA”) on September 27, 2012 in Eatontown, New Jersey. Conover’
s presentation included an introduction to New Jersey Estate Tax, a discussion of gifting and estate taxation, as well as an overview of New Jersey Inheritance Tax forms. The panel also discussed planning points as they related to a case study that was presented to the attendees. CPA and financial professionals who attended the program earned three continuing professional education credits in Taxation.
