The Propeller Project, Ace's second solo effort, represents an evolution for Ace's artistry and the take-off of his career as a rapper and independent artist. Backed by a well-connected and supportive team, the Propeller Project is expected to release next month. Stay tuned for the video shot by Jade Films, which is set to release around October 15.
Ace the Artist began his rap career writing rhymes at the age of twelve. Inspired by rappers Scarface, Ice Cube, and Biggie, Ace became a founding member of the group Tru Shootaz at 15 years-old. Songs like "Hate," "Swag Splashin'," and "What a Hater Think" quickly became popular amongst the DMV's underground music circuit in 2008. After the group's untimely break-up, Ace later began to pursue a solo career. His first solo effort, "All Will Drive" has received notable support the independent hip-hop scene in D.C. His next single, "Is It Cool" was featured on many websites and was performed live on Spotlight TV.
