EURO/CFD complies with the ISO 9001 standards

Oct. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Belfort – 28th of September 2012. EURO/CFD, engineering company specializing in numerical calculation, was certified in compliance with the AFNOR ISO 9001:2008 quality standards.

After attaining a computing power of 12 TeraFlops at peak speed with its own HPC cluster 1 054 cores, EURO/CFD takes an extra step in customer satisfaction by progressing in its approach of global improvement of its services.  

The standard ISO 9001:2008 allows making sure that the customers obtain products and services at a good level of quality. This standard is based on quality management principles, in particular a strong customer orientation, motivation and commitment of the management, process approach and continuous improvement.

EURO / CFD has set up a Quality System Management (SMQ), by converging customers, internal and normative requirements.

The policy which ensues from it declines in four commitments:

EURO / CFD obtained an immediate initial certification, no major non-compliance having been detected. Opportunities were also identified, what will allow the company to increase its efforts in its approach of continuous improvement.
