Carpoolworld Launches Free Carpool Groups Service

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 1, 2012 - The newest version of carpoolworld.com, launched today, includes new features and improvements throughout the web site, enhancing its free individual carpool matching service and its premium group service, as well providing the new free groups service.

Any visitor to carpoolworld.com can now create his or her own free carpool group, permitting any organization - office, school, neighborhood - to share commuting information and form carpools within the group.

Visitors requesting a free group simply complete an on-line form at http://www.carpoolworld.com/free_carpool_groups.html and the system automatically generates a carpoolworld.com home page for the new group based on the group preferences.  The requester then just e-mails a link to that new home page to invite people to join the group.  As administrator of the new group, the requester can maintain a list of predefined common destinations to make it easier for the group members to enter their individual commuting requirements.  Carpoolworld.com displays minimal non-intrusive advertisements on the free group pages.  Groups may be cancelled at any time.
