Iconic OC Restaurant Celebrates 25th Anniversary

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 1, 2012 - The public is invited to join in on the festivities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Anaheim White House on Sunday, October 7. The event will kick-off with a Champagne reception in the courtyard at 5:30 p.m. followed by a special 4-course dinner at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the celebration will benefit Caterina’s Club, a nonprofit that was founded by Anaheim White House owner Bruno Serato to feed children in his own backyard – the so called “motel” children – whose working-class parents are relegated to living in low-cost motel rooms.

“I can't think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than with my loyal patrons, good friends and supporters of Caterina's Club," said Serato, whose own birthday coincided with the restaurant's anniversary.  

Founded 6 years ago, Caterina's Club has served more than 400,000 hot meals to needy motel children in Anaheim.  Serato has received international attention for his humanitarian work ever since, including being named a CNN Hero. He is currently working on the next step of his work to improve the lives of those living in seedy motels --  finding them permanent housing.
