for the automotive, appliance and heater industries has renewed its registration from Det Norske Veritas after they assessed the company’s quality system and found it to be in compliance with ISO 9001:2008.
ISO 9001 is a quality assurance model made up of 20 sets of quality system requirements. This model applies to organizations that design, develop, produce, install, and service products. ISO expects organizations to apply this model, and to meet these requirements, by developing a quality system.
Paratech’s quality policy is “Quality Products on Time” and they have developed a quality system and manual designed to support this policy. According to Paratech’s President, Steve Park, “We have always had a strict quality control system, but the additional structure of the ISO 9001 registration has helped us to improve our on time delivery to greater than 99% and customer satisfaction to 98%. Maintaining our ISO registered company is a natural extension of our quality and service commitment to help employers comply with OSHA regulations.
Customers can feel confident relying on our ceramic products for reliability because they know that we follow internationally accepted standards for quality.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies from 130 countries.
