Maine Composites Show Versatility at AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER

Oct. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Portland, ME - The Maine Composites Alliance (MCA) will present Maine’s composite industry and composite building materials in the Maine Wind Industry Pavilion - booth 326 - from October 9 -11, at the AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER 2012 in Virginia Beach.

“Maine has an innovative composite industry with a diverse choice of products - including boatbuilding and wood - that wind developers, manufacturers, and construction companies in the offshore market can use,” explains Steve Von Vogt, Executive Director of MCA.

The Maine Composites Alliance is an alliance of composite businesses in Maine who work together to recognize and promote Maine’s leadership in the international composite industry. We enhance the competitiveness of Maine’s existing composite industry and our members by providing opportunities for new commercial ventures and by providing education and training for members and their employees.
