IML Worldwide, a specialist in the provision of interactive event technology and the global leader in harnessing audience insight, announces the appointment of Merion Trask as Managing Director of its Asia operations, based from Hong Kong.
Trask is no stranger to IML Worldwide, having been with the company for 17 years, most recently managing its global support network across the full range of its meetings technology products.
Over the past ten years he has also been responsible for launching IML’s Electronic Shareholder Meetings Services in Asia, Europe, Australia, and Canada.
CEO of IML Worldwide, Richard Fisher, sees Trask’s appointment as a key factor in the successful continuation of IML’s global growth strategy:
“Merion is already known to many of our large Asian clients, having been with the company for many years and taking responsibility for our International Delivery,” Fisher says. “He has run and managed thousands of events, giving him experience and exposure all over the world. In this new role he will play a significant role in both IML Worldwide’s global development and our growth in new and existing markets.”
According to Trask, “Asia presents huge potential for IML Worldwide and I am looking forward to utilising all my IML experience and knowledge to continue to expand our presence in this exciting, dynamic market. We have an excellent reputation, unparalleled experience and a second-to-none product range and I will be building on this whilst also focusing on our ability to advise clients on all aspects of harnessing audience insight.”
IML Worldwide has been at the forefront of the meeting technology industry for twenty years, and is ideally placed to supply not only proven technology, but the consultancy and support to ensure its clients maximise the effectiveness of their events and generate the best return on their investment.
