Cougar Bait Tops Bill at Boston's Biggest Halloween Bash

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 30, 2012 - Cougar Bait, the electronic dance-rock group, which hails from Boston, has been selected to headline Halloween Hangover 7 at the Middle East Upstairs on Friday October 26th. Presented by Hear Now Live, this annual Halloween show is the biggest Halloween music event in the Boston area. Halloween Hangover runs for two consecutive nights and covers both floors of the Cambridge night club. The upstairs line-up includes Mojo Kick, Sour D, Cosmodrome, and Western Education. The night will include a costume contest, prizes, and food.

History
Since its birth in 2009, the Boston based Rocktronica band Cougar Bait has
been making its mark on the New England scene. Dubbed "Massachusetts's
most notorious new band" by Pulse Magazine, Cougar Bait has built a
reputation on their high energy live performances. In 2012, Cougar Bait led all
other artists by being nominated for five Worcester Music Awards, including
Best CD and Best Up and Coming Artist. In June, the band captured the 2012
Worcester “More than Just a Battle” of the bands at Tammany Hall. Their latest
single “Lovecraft” debuted at #1 on Indie Rock Radio NEGB1, has received airplay on WAAF and WBCN, and their video was chosen by the Boston Band Crush as Video of the Week. Earlier this summer, the band was spotted by Snagle guitars founder and Thai metal legend Donpheebin KidKaewtid, who inked the band to an endorsement deal.
Cougar Bait’s Lovecraft Tour has the band headlining clubs from Portland to Providence and all points in between.
