Once again, SEARCH IS ON for India’s top talent in Microsoft Office to do India proud at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship in August 2013 in Washington DC, USA.

NEW DELHI – September 29, 2012
Certiport (www.certiport.com), the official test delivery solution provider for Microsoft Office Certifications and CyberLearning, today launched Season III of COMPUDON- the gateway to the Microsoft Office World Championship. The launch took place in presence of several officials from Microsoft Learning and participants, teachers and school officials.
The 2012 Certiport Worldwide Competition on Microsoft Office attracted more than 285,000 unique candidates from 53 countries who competed to demonstrate their mastery of Microsoft Office products. India sent 2 participants to the worldwide competition in August 2012.
COMPUDON – the gateway to the World Championship is a platform for students to showcase their mastery in using Microsoft Office applications. Eligible students from all states of India will compete for the title of “India Champions”, and up to 6 winners will then, proudly represent India at the “Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship” (fully sponsored trip by CyberLearning) in August 2013 in Washington DC, USA.

In the first season of  COMPUDON (2011) three students from Delhi Schools won the trip to represent India at the worldwide competition from which two of them secured positions in top ten world ranking.
Last year, COMPUDON Season II witnessed significant increase in number of participants. The India Champions of COMPUDON Season II, the Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 champion – Bipin Kalra- 14 year old student from Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Delhi - won the Bronze Medal whereas India Champion in Microsoft Word 2007, 15 year old, Karanjot Singh, student of Kulachi Hansraj secured 4th position in the worldwide competition in Word 2007.  Certiport recognized Bipin Kalra at the Worldwide Competition on Microsoft Office Student Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas, and presented him with a Bronze Medal, a Certificate and US Dollars 500 scholarship, while Karanjot Singh was awarded a certificate of participation.
