No one pays much attention to the so-called industrial waste which dejectedly affects our lives. It is our duty to learn about industrial waste to limit its negative consequences and then protect our existence.

Firstly, what is industrial waste? Frankly speaking, people usually claim that industrial waste is a kind of leftovers yielded from industrial activities, for instance factories, mills, and laboratories. That means people have no adequate conception of industrial waste. According to EPA, industrial waste is waste generated by manufacturing or industrial procedure. The definition of industrial waste existed when the industrial revolution set up with a new kind of industry – Waste Industries. Back to Stone Age when there was no modern machine, technical means of production, people made products by rudimentary and modern methods and lived friendly with the environment. Nowadays, it is hard to see any stone tools, sickles and so on. These things are mostly replaced by up-to-the minute production lines that drop out a large amount of waste per day in waste industries. Industrial waste is proved to be toxic, hazardous and ignitable. After World War II, the industrial revolution annually contributed 4.5 tons of hazardous waste to USA. More than that, the amount of this waste increased up to 265 million tons by 1990 when the waste industries bloomed (approximately 59 times higher than that of WWI). The more new products are launched each day, the more toxic chemicals are discarded per day....
