Sept. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Woodstock, Connecticut, September 25, 2012—ClearStak, LLC, a developer of technology that reduces emissions and improves efficiency of biofuel combustion, has moved to a larger facility in Woodstock, Connecticut.  ClearStak is increasing its office and assembly space to meet the needs of the expanding market for cleaner, more efficient use of biomass.
"I am excited that ClearStak has opened offices in Woodstock," said state representative Mike Alberts (R-Woodstock). "The firm, which designs, builds and integrates pollution control devices and controllers, is a natural fit for our community. The farming hub of northeastern Connecticut depends on biofuels as an economical, renewable heating source; the proven capacity of ClearStak's units to reduce emissions while dramatically improving energy efficiency is a win for the environment, the individuals who are expected to eventually be hired, and our consumers."
Jeff Hallowell, president of ClearStak, said, “In the last several years, we have established ourselves by creating technology that makes existing biomass combustion stacks more clean and efficient. Now, we are working to integrate our technology into new biomass combustion systems in partnership with leading manufacturers. Our new facility will allow us to grow even more and make a major impact in the industry. Our success will result in lower operating costs and less consumption of biomass for operators, and cleaner air for all of us.”
