Sales team joins Vic Blackwelder at Ted Todd Insurance Agency

Sept. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Following Robert “Vic” Blackwelder’s recent hiring as Ted Todd Insurance Agency’s Senior Sales Manager, six of his former AAA sales associates have also joined Ted Todd Insurance Agency in its Fort Myers and Cape Coral offices.

“We welcome such a tremendously experienced and successful group of sales representatives to our organization, who truly enjoy working together,” said Ted Todd. “Their energy, enthusiasm and team dynamics are exciting to us and we’ve rearranged two offices to allow them to continue to work together as a collaborative group.”  

Joining the Fort Myers/Lehigh Acres office located at Colonial Blvd and Treeline at 10676 Colonial Blvd. #20, Fort Myers, Florida 33913 are:

Aileen Castaneda – Ms. Castaneda moved here from Miami in 2006, is bilingual, and holds a Florida 20-44 insurance license. She was a sales representative at the Fort Myers office of AAA for about three years. She took classes at Edison State College in insurance studies and is very focused on advancing her career in the field.  

Amanda Fraser – Originally from Denver, Ms. Fraser moved here in 2007 and holds Florida 20-44 and 2-15 licenses. She began her insurance career at State Farm Insurance before joining the Naples office of AAA in 2009 as a sales representative and sales trainer. In recognition of high sales achievement, she was on their “Leadership Development Program” and earned “Sales Excellence” and “President’s Circle” awards.

Myriam Mellen – Ms. Mellen is originally from Columbia, South America and is bilingual. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. from Hodges University and is pursuing a master’s degree.  She holds both her Florida 20-44 and 2-15 licenses. She was previously with State Farm Insurance prior to joining AAA. She was a sales trainer at AAA’s Fort Myers office and achieved “Sales Excellence” during each of her five years.  

Natalie Rivera – Ms. Rivera is from the Lehigh Acres and Gateway communities and is bilingual. She holds her Florida 2-20 insurance license and attended the Edison State College program on insurance. She consistently ranked among the highest monthly sales achievers at AAA.

Joining the Cape Coral office located at Del Prado and Kismet at 2481 Del Prado Blvd N., Suite #117, Cape Coral, FL 33909 are:

Michelle Polendo – Ms. Polendo moved to Cape Coral from Toledo, Ohio in 1981. She holds an Associate’s Degree from Edison State College, a Florida 2-20 insurance license, and is a certified instructor in the Florida Driver Improvement Program. She has many years of insurance experience, including five years as a claims adjuster at USAA in San Antonio, five years with BB&T – Oswald Trippe and Company, and two years with AAA’s Fort Myers office, where she was one of the top sales producers.

Kelly Skillman – Originally from Las Vegas, Ms. Skillman moved here in 2005 and holds Florida 2-20 and 2-15 licenses. Following about two years with a local State Farm office, she joined AAA, where she was a top producing sales agent and sales trainer at the Fort Myers office.
