Miller Felpax To Host Plant Tour As Part Of Winona Chamber Of Commerce Manufacturing Week

Sept. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- As part of the Winona Chamber of Commerce’s Manufacturing Week, Miller Felpax, a leading global manufacturer of locomotive and railway parts and active member of the Chamber, will be opening its plant to tours on October 10, 2012. Two plant tours are planned for Chamber members and guests: one at 1:00PM and one at 1:30PM.

“Miller Felpax knows how important manufacturing is not only to Winona and the surrounding areas, but also to the health and well-being of our country,” said Miller Felpax CEO Steven L. Blue. “As active members of the Chamber, a growing company and supporter of the community, we are pleased to provide plant tours so others can see manufacturing up close and personal.”

The plant tours will highlight Miller Felpax’s history, exceptional processes and best in class locomotive and railway products. A host of local and state legislators will be on hand to tour the site and network with guests.

Blue, a noted author and keynote speaker in addition to his CEO duties, will be there for the tours, and will be donating 500 copies of his latest book, The $10 Million Employee, as well. Adding to the celebration, business expert and number one New York Times best-selling author, Harvey Mackay, will also be donating two of his books: The Harvey Mackay Network Builder and Harvey Mackay’s ABC’s of Success.
