Skelly’s Farm Market (http://www.skellysfarmmarket.com) is donating half of the proceeds on presold vouchers, which are available for sale currently online at http://welovepumpkins.eventbrite.com. For each voucher purchased, attendees can participate in Skelly’s two corn mazes, take a hayride, pick a small pumpkin, eat a donut and drink some cider/coffee. Additionally, there will be raffle items available for bids that have been donated by several local businesses, including the Janesville Jets, of Rock County.
The Fall Fundraiser is the first ever fall fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Janesville. "It is an outstanding event in many ways," said Richard Lowe, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters. “Area families can get out and enjoy the fall season, kids in our program can have fun with their Big Brother or Big Sister, and -- thanks to Skelly's Farm Market -- we're able to call attention to the tremendous need for adult volunteers who will make a difference in a child's life."
According to Milissa Rick, Board Member and Director of Marketing at Spacesaver, “Corporate sponsors of the event thus far include Mercy Healthcare, Grainger, Spacesaver, Edgerton Pharmacy, Contemporary Dental, and Kiawanis of Janesville. We are still in need of sponsors and raffle donors. We welcome any and all support from local area businesses to help the cause.”
