Essar Projects has received award for the Special Commendation in the Steel Plant Construction Project category for their project in Odisha.
The Essar team of Namala Subbarao, Project Director-EPIL, Paradip, Subrat Mandal, EPIL and Kiran Panda, Essar Steel, accepted the award on behalf of the company which was presented by MC Bhandare, Governor of Odisha. The award was presented during the Odisha State Safety Conclave 2012, held in the state capital, Bhubaneswar on 14th September.
The theme of the conclave was “Emerging Trends in Safety - Issues and Concerns”. The programme was jointly organized by Institute of Quality and Environment Management Services and Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage with Government support from Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India & Department of labour, and Employees State Insurance Govt. of Odisha.
This conclave was the biggest assemblage of Safety Practitioners & Thinkers in this part of the Country and s deliberations centered around Best Safety Management Practices.
