PRLog -- To make it easier to access important preventive health care services for members of the community, The City of Hawaiian Gardens and Tri-City Regional Medical Center are joining together to host a free health fair on Saturday, October 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the campus of Tri-City Regional Medical Center, 21530 Pioneer Blvd., Hawaiian Gardens. The health fair will feature free health screenings designed to help you learn about your health. Screenings, education and early diagnosis may help prevent serious medical conditions such as heart disease, stroke and others. Health events such as these provide a relaxed environment for you to learn key facts about your health and that of your loved ones. Free health screenings will include blood pressure, podiatry (feet), stroke, diabetes, dental, vision, and spine and orthopedic conditions. It will also include educational programs featuring physicians from Tri-City Regional Medical Center. The health fair will also feature fun events for the whole family, including a Kid’s Corner area with bouncer, face painting and other activities. Representatives from area health plans will also be on hand to inform visitors about options in Medicare and Medi-Cal during the annual open enrollment period.
