The ice rink will return again this year, with its first day open to the public being Saturday 8th December. Ice skaters can expect a larger rink, and this year the audience seating and cafeteria will be covered from the elements, with fantastic treats available on site from coffee and pastries to freshly made baguettes.
Kids won't want to miss the opportunity to meet santa in his Windsor grotto (open from Saturday 15th December), while adults may prefer "ice dancing" in fancy dress at special events including 70s, 80s and 90s nights (from Wednesday 12th), or live music on Saturday 5th January to jive in the new year!
There will be a function room available to hire for parties and events, with ice rink tickets and refreshments included in the price if required. Where better to celebrate Christmas?
Clare Johnson, of Windsor On, Ice says "Windsor ice rink has been a great success in previous years, and we can't wait to be there in Alexandra Gardens again - the view of the castle is simply amazing, and ice skating is so very festive ... There's nothing quite like Windsor On Ice to make me feel "Christmasy"!"
Special offers are available including Two for One ice skating tickets - just book the available dates before November 11th, or organise a group to spend over £50.
Clare continues, "Windsor On Ice is a great value day out for the family, and this year's special offers make it even more affordable. The Christmas themed function room will be a great place for office parties, and we will do our best to accommodate any special requests - just get in touch!"
Tickets are available in Peak or Off-peak options with discounts available for families and groups. Buy your ice skating session online from Digiticket (via http://www.windsoronice.com/
