PRLog - Sep. 27, 2012 - RAYNHAM, Mass. -- Silko Honda, long known as a leading auto dealership in Raynham, MA, has just announced that they have the all-new 2013 Accord in stock. The Accord has earned a reputation as one of the most affordable family sedans on the market, and while Honda is reinforcing that reputation with the 2013 model, they are also branching out toward drivers who are searching for a sportier ride.
2013 Honda Accord Sedan
Despite making significant changes and additions from the 2012 model, the majority of 2013 Honda Accord models will be priced at approximately $300 more than the previous model year, giving drivers more for their money.
Of the most notable changes include new transmissions and revised engines. The four-cylinder Accord is powered by a direct-injected 2.4L engine that can generate up to 189 hp. The 3.5L V6 engine returns for 2013, but receives a boost in power, producing up to 278 hp. These engines can be paired with either a six-speed manual or an optional continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
The base-level Accord is the LX Sedan, with an MSRP of only $22,470 for the model with the six-speed manual transmission. This entry-level model starts out with 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, a USB input, and a rearview camera.
The Accord Sport adds on revised suspension and tuning, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, paddle shifters, dual chrome-tipped exhaust pipes, and a 10-way power driver seat. MSRP on the Sport trim is $24,180 for models equipped with the six-speed manual transmission.
The highest trim level of Accord with the six-speed manual transmission is the EX Sedan, priced at an MSRP of $25,395. This trim level adds push-button start and a smart key, as well as safety features such as Honda's LaneWatch Blind Spot Display.
The Honda Accord V6 Touring features the CVT as standard equipment, and comes equipped with leather seating, a navigation system, adaptive cruise control, and LED headlights.
Drivers set on getting a manual transmission with Honda's six-cylinder engine will have to move away from the sedan and to the 2013 Honda Accord Coupe. The Coupe can be equipped with either the CVT or six-speed manual transmission, with models starting at an MSRP of $31,140.
Those who are curious about the latest Accord are encouraged to contact Silko Honda. In addition to the 2013 Accord, they carry a wide selection of other new and pre-owned vehicles. Their sales department is open seven days a week.
