Two, Two, Two Plays in One! Cultural Arts Theatre Doubles-Down on Comedy!

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 27, 2012 - Directed by Michael Andron, this uproarious comedy surrounds a family coping with a quirky Uncle who has an imaginary friend… or is he imaginary? Written by Mary Chase, the J’s Cultural Arts Theatre will perform this story with two ensemble casts, one cast Youths, and one cast adults. “Utilizing two casts is not something that is new to us,” mentions Michael Andron. “However, using two casts of two very different age groups will make for an exciting, and unusual theatre experience. I hope that theatergoers give both performances a try!”

The J’s Cultural Arts Theatre (J-CAT) located at the Michael-Ann Russell JCC, 18900 NE 25th Avenue, is the community theatre program of the MAR-JCC’s Rabbi Norman Mussman Cultural Arts Department.  Initially launched four years ago, primarily as an after school theatre program for middle and high school age youth, the J-CAT program has assimilated under its umbrella the MAR-JCC’s adult community theatre company. This season, J-CAT youth and adult, will present a total of six productions, in addition to providing acting classes and workshops.
