Fundraiser at Massapequa Pet Vet Sunday, October 14 to Benefit Three Local Non-Profit Organizations

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 27, 2012 - Massapequa, NY, September 27, 2012 – Massapequa Pet Vet (www.mpetvet.vetsuite.com ), a full service veterinary center, will host a “Barktoberfest” fundraiser on Sunday, October 14, 2012, from 12-5 pm at its facility located at 5330 Merrick Road, Massapequa, NY.  All profits will directly benefit Canine Companions for Independence, The Guide Dog Foundation and the Long Island Wildlife and Animal Rescue (LIWAR), which are all non-profit organizations.

Massapequa Pet Vet's veterinarians and staff, members of the Massapequa Chamber of Commerce, invite the public, including their family pets, to stop by and enjoy the “Barktoberfest” activities, which include games, training demos, a Bouncy Castle, food, cat adoptions and more.  Prizes will be awarded for both the Best Pet Costume and the Best Pet Trick contests.  An auction and raffles provided by local businesses will help to raise funds.
