Kids Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Brookfield Chiropractic (http://www.brookfieldchiropractic.net), 15010 W. Greenfield Ave. (adjacent to Panera Bread and just east of Pick ‘n Save). Children can burn off energy in a bouncy house, foam playground and marble wall. The Milwaukee Brewers Racing Sausages will visit, and clowns and the Monkey Joe’s mascot will entertain.
Kids can climb aboard a fire truck, tour an ambulance and see a police squad car close up. A noon raffle drawing will award a bicycle as a grand prize, plus many other gift cards and certificates. Lunch is provided.
Representatives of the Brookfield Police and Fire departments will be on hand to discuss fire prevention and child safety. Parents can partake of coloring books for the kids, and information about children’s health, safety and other topics. Doctors from Brookfield Chiropractic will provide free spinal screenings.
“We’re pleased to hold our first Kids Day event as an opportunity not only for fun, but for education about children’s health, safety and environmental awareness,” said Dr. Matt Christiansen of Brookfield Chiropractic. “We invite the entire community to join us for what promises to be a great fall Saturday.”
