Bryant believes that change starts on a local level by helping others succeed in their endeavors and reach their own personal dreams.
As a resident of the struggling Lake Las Vegas area, she sees first-hand what a difference a bad economy can make. "I'm told that some of the most famous people in the world used to perform out there," said Bryant. "I have heard stories of patrons sitting on the grass by the lake in black tie apparel listening to Pavarotti. The stores have not changed, the offerings have not changed, but the popularity of the area struggles significantly. We really have to stop and take a look at why that has happened."
In an effort to help re-build popularity for the area, Bryant, who is currently running for Nevada State Assembly in District 12, is hosting several fundraising events in the area.
"I lived in the Vegas area for over a year before I ever even heard of Lake Las Vegas," she said. "And I hear a lot of people say they do not know where it is, which is very surprising. I am hoping that the publicity for our events will help spread awareness and bring more people to the area."
Building up Nevada one sector at a time is the vision of Ms. Bryant and she will be launching the porion of her Assembly campaign that shares this vision with the state and with the world on October 1st.
"I call it 'The New Nevada,'" said Bryant. "In it, we become the metropolitan oasis of the west coast."
