Sept. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- ALBANY, N.Y. – Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) has launched its new Northway Xpress (NX) commuter bus route between Saratoga and Albany, NY. This CDTA bus line (like all of its others) was designed with the needs of commuters in mind, especially those who are tired of long drive times and lags in productivity while traveling to work and appointments. This NX express bus schedule includes over a dozen departures from Saratoga County Monday through Friday, with an equal number of return trips from Albany County for commuters who live and work along the I-87 corridor. This Northway express bus service begins at 5:30am and continues to make stops throughout the morning and evening. Two midday return trips at noon and 2:00pm accommodate riders who have varying work and appointment schedules, or for those who need to get home unexpectedly.

The new NX Swiper card means deep discounts for riders (between 10% and 30% of current Saratoga to Albany bus fares). With the NX Swiper, riders can transfer to any CDTA bus at no additional charge. Riders can hop off a CDTA Northway bus to Clifton Parkand catch another bus from Clifton Park to Albany all with the NX Swiper.

CDTA NX buses feature free on-board wifi access and coach-style seating for a comfortable and productive ride to work each day. This Northway bus service is more reliable and convenient than other Saratoga to Albany shuttles or rideshares and guarantees commuters a safe and dependable ride to and from work each day.

Save money and gas by choosing CDTA’s Northway Xpress line. The NX schedule, route map, and brochure are available online. For more information about the premier Albany commuter bus: visit CDTA’s website: http://www.cdta.org/.
