Charles Albert Teams with Glam-A-Thon to Help Give Breast Cancer Awareness a Glamorous Night
September 24, 2012 Ft. Lauderdale, FL- With Breast Cancer Awareness Month fast approaching, Charles Albert® is doing their part in finding a cure to this deadly disease. For the second year, Charles Albert will be participating in Lipstick Lounge, a fashion event where the local community binds together to raise funds for the benefit of the women that suffer from breast cancer.
The Lipstick Lounge is a chic event that blends the best of cocktails, cosmetics and confection in South Florida all while promoting the Glam-A-Thon slogan to “Kiss Breast Cancer Away”. The jewelry company and its founder, Charles Albert, are champions of the worthy cause as his wife is a breast cancer survivor. “We’re participating in Lipstick Lounge again because I feel it’s a great cause. My wife, Beth is a cancer survivor and finding a cure to this disease is a worthy endeavor” says Mr. Albert.
To help raise funds, Charles Albert® has donated a custom handcrafted Pink Jasper Statement Necklace that can be purchased at the silent auction. In addition, the company will be raffling a Hot Pink Jasper Collection and a Fuchsia Pink Agate Collection, each set contains 4 pieces of jewelry. 100% of all raffle ticket sales will be donated to Glam-A-Thon.
