Travelogy secures S$250,000 in funding from Crystal Horse Investments

Travelogy has just received a funding of S$250,000 from Crystal Horse Investments and the Singapore Media Development Authority via the i.JAM Reload scheme.

Sept. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Singapore - Travelogy has just received a funding of S$250,000 from Crystal Horse Investments and the Singapore Media Development Authority via the i.JAM Reload scheme. One of the first companies to be awarded the i.JAM Reload, Travelogy hopes to move one step closer to achieving its vision of becoming the local hero in Asia’s travel scene with the help of this investment. Started in Singapore, Travelogy will be moving into Malaysia in the coming months, and is eyeing the Filipino and Indonesian online travel market.

About Travelogy:
Travelogy is a Singapore-based company that builds scalable travel portals with a focus in Southeast Asia. Started in August 2010, Travelogy has two main products: TripZilla.com and ComeSingapore.com. TripZilla is an outbound travel portal that offers users in a particular country the simplest way to find and book their travels. ComeSingapore, on the other hand is a destination marketing platform for inbound visitors.

About the founders:
Winnie Tan, the CEO and founder, is a mumpreneur with a string of successful businesses which includes a bubble tea chain, a real estate agency and an art gallery. She is a mother to two young boys and holds a BSc (Computer Science) from the National University of Singapore.

Co-founder, Eric Koh, is a serial entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience in online technology, digital marketing and web start-ups. His most recent exit was JobsCentral, sold last year to CareerBuilder, the top job portal in USA.
