The renewal of the agreement with Al-Riyadi Club in 2012 demonstrates Umniah’s commitment to support young talents and coachthem to achieve competitivelevels.
Ihab Hinnawi, the CEO of Umniah expressed his delight to launchthis year’s edition ofthe tournament. “We believe that such initiatives direct young talents to discovertheir potential effectively, so that they are able to evolve and thrive”, he stated. “Additionally, our partnership with Al-Riyadi Club enables us to interact with the members of the club to identify their needs in terms of telecom services and receive their feedback, supporting our efforts to meet and exceed their expectations and enhance their confidence in us.”
Hinnawi confirmed that Umniah will continue to support Sportsas a way to “encourage youth to develop their skills and talents to capture real life opportunities”
Umniah’s support is embodied in nurturing the young teams that include around 200 male and female players between the age of 7 and 17 years old. Umniah also provides exclusive sponsorships for six teams in addition to sponsoring local basketball tournaments for males and females within the ages of 13, 15, and 17.
Umniah also supports many of the activities and events organized by the club throughout the year, which providesregularopportunitiesto interact with the club members in a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere.
