By: Bridget O'Brien PR Bridget O'Brien 917-733- bridget@ There are so many charity fundraisers every week in NYC. They are all done for wonderful causes and well attended but after time can become mundane. The Young Professionals Leadership Committee of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are hosting a fabulous event that is anything but mundane. What: 2012 A Prom to Remember Date: Saturday, October 13th 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM Location: Hudson Terrace, 621 West 46th Street (btw 12th and 11th) Tickets: $75 and up, CLICK BELOW TO BUY YOUR TICKET NOW http://manhattan.cff.org/ The Hudson Terrace will be transformed to a Prom to Remember on Saturday, October 13 from 7-11. Guests will don their most fabulous prom formal attire. The evening will be hosted by the Young Professional Leadership Committee (YPLC). http://manhattan.cff.org/ The night promises to me more unforgettable than your prom. There will be prom photo opportunities, including a photo backdrop and a photo booth, and there will be the crowning of the Prom King and Prom Queen. There will be a silent auction with thousands and thousands of dollars prizes from over 100 businesses. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the number-one genetic disease affecting children and young adults in this country. More than 10 million Americans (one in every 31) are symptom-less carriers of the defective CF gene. Currently, there is no cure. The mission of the CFF is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. Revenue from this event helps to educate the public about CF, share the progress of our scientists and raise the necessary funds to advance our innovative research programs. We are closer than ever to controlling and, ultimately, curing this disease, but we need your help to make this a reality.
