Two different opportunities will be presented during the event. They include:
Black and Orange Inter-squad Scrimmage. Enjoy the scheduled inter-squad scrimmage, featuring Hargrave's 2012-2013 PG Basketball team. The team will perform in a game that headlines the best rising student-athlete basketball talent in the country. The 2012-2013 team includes four players ranked in the Top 100 in the country. They are: Cadet Anton Gill of Raleigh, North Carolina (committed to Louisville); Cadet Terry Rozier of Cleveland, Ohio (committed to Louisville); Cadet Greg McClinton of Winston-Salem, North Carolina (committed to Wake Forest); Cadet Donte Clark of Charlotte, North Carolina (offers from Virginia Tech, Miami, FL, Oklahoma St and Memphis). All 15 team members will participate.
Retirement Ceremony. Hargrave will hold a special ceremony for 2004-2005 PG Basketball team member and 2005 PG graduate Joe Alexander, formerly of the Chicago Bulls.
“We want to continue to bring back the tradition of our program at Hargrave,” said Head PG Coach A.W. Hamilton. “Joe is not only a great basketball player but more importantly is a phenomenal person and this will be a great way to kick off to our 2012-2013 season.”
Hargrave's PG Basketball program has achieved many successes and accomplishments, including being named program of the decade by RealGM Basketball.
