Public Speaking and Leadership Development Club Presents Awards

First of Sussex Toastmasters club in Sparta, New Jersey presents awards for outstanding member acheivement.
 
Sept. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Tuesday, September 25th Toastmasters Area 23 Governor, Dennis Quirk, presented awards to members of First of Sussex Toastmasters Club for achieving communication and leadership goals which helped the club reach Select Distinguished Toastmasters Club status.

First of Sussex Toasmasters also presented awards to club members for outstanding achievement in the club speech contests. Carol Moore placed first in the Table Topics contest, with Club President Debra Hollinrake coming in second.  Dori Zarr won the first place award in the Tall Tales Contest, with Patti LaSorsa taking a second place award. First place speech contest winners at the Area level will move on to the Division contests October 24th at New York Life Investments, 169 Lackawanna Avenue, Parsippany, NJ.

First of Sussex Toastmasters is a local chapter of Toastmasters International, a non-profit, public speaking and leadership development organization.  Joining Toastmasters can benefit individuals in their personal and professional development by promoting strong communication and leadership skills, which are so crucial in today’s social and economic climate.
