Arthritis treatments topic of Oct. 10 lecture at HealthPoint

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 26, 2012 - Georgetown, S.C.   —Dr. Michael N. Bohan, a physician with Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists in Myrtle Beach, will discuss treatment options for arthritis of the hip and knee Wednesday, Oct. 10, at HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness in Pawleys Island.
Bohan’s lecture, which is being hosted by Georgetown Hospital System, is scheduled for noon. The event will last about an hour and include opportunities for participants to ask questions. Among the topics that Bohan will discuss are joint replacement surgery, recovery and rehabilitation, and knee and hip prostheses. Representatives from NextStep Joint Replacement Center at Waccamaw Community Hospital also will be on hand to share information about relieving hip and knee pain.
