“We have become slaves to the consumption and production of technology,”
The “Think Different” sculpture will be mass produced and assembled solely in the United States, with a limited edition set coated in a Apple Black in response to the recent Foxconn riot, as well as, serve as a motif for the past suicides at the Foxconn factories that continue to grow.
“This sculpture is everything we don’t want to know about the behind the scenes of producing technology,”
“Everything about the Jobs’ sculpture from its creation to mass production conceptually emulates and speaks to a generation that will never be able to recognize a breaking point in humanity,” said Cory Allen.
The sale of the “Think Different” sculpture line will be announced on CACA’s website October 2nd, 2012 and will debut at AIS Editions on October 13th, 2012 at 8:00 PM in the Brewery Arts Complex at 642 Moulton Ave in Los Angeles, California.
