LONDON – 26 September 2012 – Six Degrees Group today announced its involvement in Greentree’s GAME ON competition. Presented for the first time in the UK, the 2012 GAME ON competition is offering one successful UK business the chance to win a complete business makeover. The prize is £150,000 of fully installed business software, including two year’s free cloud hosting services from Six Degrees Group.
The judging panel is looking for UK companies whose current business systems are causing them pain, problems and generally holding them back, whether it’s their individual accounting, payroll, HR, CRM, Business Intelligence, eBusiness or supply chain management systems or their entire infrastructure. Companies that have the foresight and the desire to truly improve, and who really want to maximise their potential.
Harry Mowat, Greentree’s UK Managing Director, explains: “We’re looking for companies that have problems with their business systems. This isn’t about helping a company that’s about to go under, it’s about supporting a thriving business who has become a victim of their own success and who will truly benefit by implementing new business software.”
“There are many businesses out there that are doing really well, but who’s day to day running of their company could be made so much more efficient and profitable just through updating their business systems. Unfortunately, because of the recession, many organisations simply aren’t in a position to be able to update their infrastructure, so the GAME ON competition offers an incredible opportunity for one lucky company to change its business fortunes.”
Campbell Williams, group strategy and marketing director, Six Degrees Group, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Greentree, offering our cloud services as part of the GAME ON prize. The fit between Greentree and Six Degrees is excellent and our cloud services offer businesses a resilient, geographically diverse platform, all accessed and connected through our backbone network, housed in dedicated datacentre space. Therefore the cloud service we offer is secure and flexible and a reliable asset to any business.”
