Through social media, the company provides those job seekers with job opportunities, information, tips and advice, military facts, up-to-date job-seeking news, and a platform for networking.

Liz Wheeler, RecruitMilitary’s social media manager, creates and manages the company’s brand presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Pinterest. Wheeler’s own military connection goes back two generations – one of her grandfathers served during World War II, and the other served during the Korean War. Wheeler is working toward a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in homeland security, from Penn State University.

RecruitMilitary produces a nationwide schedule of Veteran Opportunity Expos – job fairs that are enhanced to include franchisors and educational institutions as well as corporate and government employers. The company also offers subscriptions (search licenses) to its database of more than 500,000 registered candidates who have military backgrounds at www.recruitmilitary.com, job postings, candidate sourcing services, and advertising space in online and print media. RecruitMilitary distributes more than 38,000 copies of each issue of Search & Employ®, a bimonthly print magazine, to over 220 military bases throughout the world, National Guard and reserve units, and job seekers who attend its expos.
