“The money raised last year helped purchase much needed programs and supplies for our school,” said Chris Herold, Principal at PLS. “We added classroom supplies, a K-8 Art Literacy Program, Rocket Math Program for K-6, Raz-Kids program for K-6, and ELMO document cameras and projectors in each classroom which display 3-D objects and text from a book or worksheet to the whole class.”
“Students are raising money by collecting flat pledges,” noted Sheri Kaetzel, PTL President. “On the day of the jog-a-thon, students will run for a SUPER FUN 20 minutes. It’s great to see their competitive spirit and energy every year.”
All pledges are tax deductible, and donations of cash, checks made payable to PLS and PayPal are accepted through the children or the school office.
“One thing to consider too is that many companies match at least 50% of donations,” noted Sheri Kaetzel. “Donors may need to fill out a form through their Human Resources Department, but we’ll take care of the rest.”
Pledge envelopes are due Friday October 5th, however monies will be accepted until Thursday, October 11th. Come join the fun!
