Family Hyundai of Tinely Park is proud of the automaker's support of such a strong American tradition. Hyundai is an official sponsor of some of our nation’s most iconic football programs — programs with incredibly spirited fan base have made them legendary, including Alabama, Boston College, Michigan, Ohio State, and many others.
Knowing the excitement that weeknight football brings to fans, Hyundai is back with ESPN's “College Football Live: Hyundai Thursday Night Kickoff,” including 12 Thursday night programs that started on September 6, 2012 and will play through the end of the season.
Connecting with both Hyundai and football fans in a more personal way than television is important though. “College football fans wear their colors more proudly than any other fan base,” says vice president of marketing, Steve Shannon, of Hyundai Motor America. “Reaching fans not only through TV but also at stadiums where that passion is rooted gives us a more genuine connection to the sport and those that love it as much as we do.”
During its tour of some of America's favorite stadiums, from “The Swamp” to “The Big House,” at some of college football's most infamous school match-ups, Hyundai will connect with fans personally. As a treat, a 2013 Sante Fe that’s been specially modified as the “Ultimate Tailgate Vehicle” will be present to take part in pre-game and post-game celebrations. The Sante Fe will play a huge part in these events as a whole, and will be accompanied by special appearances from the new Hyundai Veloster Turbo.
