2012 could not come to close with out the Surf Fishing Classic on Long Beach Island, NJ and its 58th year will kick off with a power house clinic on Saturday October 6. Century Rods Pro Staff will be on hand to add to the expertise of the Surf City Anglers presentation. Both groups will host The Surf Fishing Seminar which is open to all ages and is designed to will help novice anglers learn the basics, intermediate anglers can learn to build on their fundamental techniques and veteran anglers to pick up new tricks and tips that will help polish their repertoire. It begins at the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce office at 265 West Ninth Street in Ship Bottom at 9am for door prizes, coffee and doughnuts then onto the Ship Bottom Fire Hall at 945 am for seminar.
Topics during the seminar will range from fishing equipment to rigs, bait, lures and beyond. The Surf City Anglers, previously known as Team Mullet have been hosting the Surf Fishing Clinics for several years and are excited to be partnering with Century Rods. This internationally known rod company has an impressive staff line up consisting of friendly and experienced surfcaster professionals. In addition to the Pro Staff; Century’s Rods will be providing equipment on the beach for all to try.
