Sept. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Local Businesses Invited to Join the “CCCR Business 100”

Collier Child Care Resources, Inc. (CCCR) announced today the launch of “The CCCR Business 100.”  An exclusive group of local businesses, the CCCR Business 100 is designed to provide support for Collier Child Care Resources’ mission and programs that serve economically disadvantaged children and families of Collier County.

The new initiative will help fund scholarships for the children of working parents having difficulty affording child care on their own, as well as provide supplies and equipment to support CCCR’s programs serving the children of teen moms determined to graduate from high school.  “It’s a way for the local business community to invest in the county’s current and future workforce,” said Niccole Howard, CCCR’s Executive Director.

CCCR operates the NCEF Early Childhood Development Center at Edison State College, Collier Campus and two A Step Up teen parent programs, located at Golden Gate and Immokalee High Schools.  In addition, CCCR also offers training classes for early learning professionals.

Membership in the CCCR Business 100 costs $500, whether a company is a small or medium-sized business, and all members receive the same benefits.  Program benefits include:  recognition on the CCCR’s web site, in its brochures, press releases, ads and social media; inclusion in CCCR’s major networking events; and public recognition as co-host of CCCR’s major annual fundraising event.  The 2013 event, “Big Impressions by Little Artists,” which celebrates Impressionism period artwork, created by kids attending CCCR’s programs, will be held at the von Liebig Art Center on March 7.  Members also receive a promotional packet with materials that allow them to highlight their support of the CCCR Business 100 program in their workplace or in marketing materials.

“Through the CCCR Business 100, local businesses not only provide a helping hand for our programs and the kids they serve during a difficult economy, but those who join also get something in return.  They get recognition for their support and the satisfaction of knowing they are investing in the education and development of future employees.  We believe it will be a win-win for everyone,” said Howard.

The official kick-off cocktail reception for the CCCR Business 100 will be hosted by CCCR at Clive Daniel Home later this year.  Members of the CCCR Business 100 and their families will be guests.
