Sept. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Measurement Systems of Liquids and Gases's  delivers a diverse range of integrated flow, temperature and pressure sensor systems in lightweight, compact packaging for aerospace applications. These unique aerospace flowmeter systems repeat within 0.02% with a linear output of ±0.01% of reading, while delivering extended range performance and superior Universal Viscosity Curve (UVC) flow ranges of up to 60:1 turndown.

A key development is the Model Measurement Systems of Liquids and Gases's ADLR  turbine flowmeter. This aluminum-bodied, dual rotor turbine flowmeter is intended for applications found in Formula 1 race cars and combat aircraft. Measurement Systems Of Liquids and Gases  was the flowmeter supplier of choice for the General Atomics Avenger (formerly Predator C), an unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) built by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems for the United States military. Unlike the previous MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper (Predator B) drones, the Avenger is powered by a turbofan jet engine, and its design includes stealth features such as internal weapons storage and an "S" shaped exhaust for reduced heat and radar signature. This small packaging also allowed the meter to be used with no modifications to the engine fuel piping – and without the need for flow straighteners.
