The “Beyond Driving with Dignity” Professional Certification program has been designed to arm qualifying professionals with the tools necessary to help older drivers and their families work through the complicated, sensitive and often-times emotional issue of age-related diminishing driving skills.
Having received this certification, Henderson is now well-suited to provide older drivers and their families with a very specific program that will help them make appropriate decisions on how to keep the older driver safe as he or she progresses through the natural aging process. Mark will begin serving older drivers and their families throughout the Dayton, Ohio area immediately.
Henderson is a retired school administrator and currently serves as a hospice volunteer in the Dayton, Ohio area. Along with Mark’s professional experience in working through difficult situations, he has also participated in challenging and emotional “driving” conversations within his own family.
The “Beyond Driving with Dignity” Professional Certification program is designed to be a common-sense approach to help facilitate (and often times mediate!) rational, driving-related solutions based on tangible facts and personal observations. “Beyond Driving with Dignity; The workbook for the families of older drivers” serves as the foundation of the certification program.
