NLB and Dial Global Pair Up for New Hispanic Radio Programming

An independent radio network company (Dial Global) and National Latino Broadcasting are entering a partnership to bring the fastest-growing demographic in the U.S. two new radio formats.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 24, 2012 - Dial Global (NASDQ: DIAL), an independent radio network company, and National Latino Broadcasting (NLB) are working together to bring the Hispanic community an extensive selection of content from Cristina Radio and En Vivo –NLB radio formats. NLB and Dial Global announced their new partnership on September 18th. The two companies hope to join forces in October and use the NLB radio formats to create radio programing targeting a National Hispanic audience. The 24/7 formats – Cristina Radio and En Vivo – will be broadcasted across the United States by Dial Global.

The partnership is designed to offer Hispanics the best talk radio and music programming aimed at their demographic. Both of the formats offer full turnkey programming opportunities and 24/7 listener availability. The stations will feature hourly vignettes, full-length daily shows and full-length weekly shows. Dial Global is the network’s only ad and affiliates sales representative. The President of Programming at Dial Global is hopeful about the future of the network.

“We’re pleased to launch two more offerings into the Spanish-language marketplace, with a great company like NLB,” he said. “Marketers are increasingly interested in reaching the fast-growing Hispanic population, and Dial Global will continue to build out a basket of services for radio operators and advertisers.” The President and CEO of NLB is optimistic, too. “NLB is excited to partner with Dial Global, the country’s leading radio syndication company,” he said.

The NLB CEO hopes that the new programing will reach a wider audience and give strong opportunities to affiliate stations and advertisers who willing to connect with the United States Hispanic audience. En Vivo is an energetic music channel that is focused on bringing audiences a variety of programs involving a mix of contemporary Spanish hits to memorable concerts and music events from other parts of the globe. Additionally, En Vivo will partner with The Latin Recording Academy® and become the official satellite radio partner of the Latin GRAMMY Awards and other events.

The Latin Recording Academy® is a nonprofit organization that acknowledges distinction in Latin music every year at the Latin GRAMMYs. The Latin GRAMMYs is the most prestigious award in Latin Music. Unlike En Vivo, Cristina Radio offers news, entertainment, cooking, nutrition, fitness, personal motivation, personal empowerment and political matters. The channel will be spearheaded by Cristina Saralegui – the Latin media icon that the Cristina Radio is named after.
