Car Audio Group’s Exportation to India Shrinks

Sept. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- An internal sales report on the Car Audio Group showed that the wholesale car stereo exportation to the Indian market decreased in August. The figures showed a 23% plunge in the sales, compared with that in July.

The Indian market is one of the main consuming markets of the wholesale car audio products. In the past 12 months, car stereo products were selling very hot in the Indian market and the sales quantity was increasing every month.

However, the August became the very first month to cease the sales increase. Moreover, the sales may turn downward in the following months. This situation will be difficult for the car stereo distributors in the local market.

Reports on Shanghai Daily lent support to Joseph. It is reported that car sales in India decrease 19% in August. The car demand in India was hot in the past 10 months, and the August was the first month for the sales figures to drop.

According to Joseph, most of the key customers of the wholesale car stereo products are the new car owners, who like to upgrade their car audio system to a higher level. With the increase in the car sales, the sales of the wholesale car audio also increased.

Joseph also pointed out that the decrease on car demand in India was caused by many reasons. The Indian government ceased the subsidies on car purchases which increased the purchasing cost on a new car. The increase on the interest rates also made barriers for people to buy cars and car stereo products. In addition, the fuel price surge also weakens the car purchases.

It is hoped that the Indian government will take some measures to boom the current car demand. Joseph tended to believe that the subsidies on the fuel price would greatly help increase the demand of the cars and the wholesale car stereo products.

According to the Car Audio Group’s forecast, the weakening car purchases and the wholesale car audio demand will last until next spring. The company is now working on the better sales channel and sales strategy to win back the reducing market opportunities. New sales proposals of wholesale car stereo products are on the table and are ready to be executed.
