TrioBe Plus memory pills, for age-related cognitive decline (NEW)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 24, 2012 - Clinically tested formula shows positive homocysteine-lowering effect on ageing brains

Meda Pharmaceuticals has launched TrioBe® Plus, a NEW formulation designed to help maintain memory and mental performance in people over 50.
The one a day tablets were trialled by UK scientists in 2010 and shown to have potential benefits for people concerned about age-related cognitive decline – a gradual reduction in our ability to process thoughts (cognitive function) which occurs as part of the normal ageing process.1,2  Following significant media and public interest, Meda Pharmaceuticals have now taken the decision to make TrioBe® Plus commercially available.
TrioBe® Plus – contains high doses of 3 essential B vitamins – B12, B6 and Folic acid.  Scientific studies have proved these B vitamins to support memory function, concentration, cognitive performance and mental vitality.
Although it is well understood that B vitamins have a positive effect on mental performance, the secret of TrioBe® Plus is the level and concentration of dose – significantly higher than can be obtained from a normal diet or from most high street vitamin supplements.

Homocysteine-lowering effect
The significance of this higher dose lies in the ability of B vitamins to lower the concentration of a substance called homocysteine. This is a naturally occurring amino acid found in the body but in increased levels it has been linked to neurological conditions that lead to memory loss and cognitive decline in older age. The scientists who tested this theory in a group of older people, found significantly lower levels of homocysteine in the people who had taken a high dose of vitamin B (TrioBe® Plus).
Said, Meda’s Head of Marketing, Julian Hammond, “Brain ageing is an inevitable process, but one that people naturally want to delay if at all possible. TrioBe® Plus is a simple and inexpensive way for people to take positive preventative action.  Initially, we had produced the TrioBe® Plus supplement for test in Sweden, but the research so far into the beneficial effects of B-vitamins on the ageing brain is so promising that we are delighted to make the product available everywhere.”
Meda report that they have already received enquiries for TrioBe® Plus from many different countries and although they are focusing mainly on a UK launch, will be despatching products anywhere in the world.

TrioBe® Plus will only be available to buy online with a launch offer price of £14.95* and is exclusively available from http://www.triobeplus.co.uk.                                                             Or you can order from our customer service hotline: 01223 750 292 8am-6pm Mon-Fri
*RRP. £23.95 for 60 tablets – equivalent to 40p per day at the recommended dose.
