Philippines announces ROP Hong Kong Investor Presentation

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 23, 2012 - The Government of the Republic of the Philippines is scheduled to launch an investor presentation in Hong Kong on October 8 – 9, 2012.  This Investor Presentation is going to be the fifth leg of the international non-deal roadshow to be conducted by the Republic, having been to Europe, US, Singapore, Australia and soon to the Middle East since the beginning of the year.

The Philippines will update Hong Kong-based investors, analysts and the media on the country’s continuing growth story and present the latest macroeconomic and fiscal developments.
 
Attendees:  Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP/Central Bank of the Philippines) Deputy Governor Diwa Guinigundo, National Treasurer Roberto Tan and BSP-Investor Relations Office Executive Director Claro Fernandez.
 
Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, ING, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and UBS will assist the Republic in organizing the investor presentations.

Also on October 9, 2012, the Philippines is hosting the ASEAN Finance Ministers Investor Seminar at the Island Shangrila in Hongkong. This Investor Seminar will be attended by the Finance Ministers as well as key business leaders from the nations of the ten ASEAN member nations.
